Secrets.ai: what it costs, who bills you, and how you leave cleanly

Four questions about Secrets.ai come before features: whether it is safe, who owns it, what appears on the bank statement, and how to leave.

This review answers them in that order, as far as the vendor's own pages allow. In short: Secrets.ai makes leaving easier than most apps of its kind, and does not publish the size of its daily free message limit.

Free account: 200 Moments and an expiry date

At signup you get 200 Moments once and one custom character. Moments pay for images, video and voice calls; the free tier also has a daily message limit.

The size of that daily limit is not published; the app shows the number only when you reach it, with a countdown to the reset. Browsing with no account is tighter still and cannot generate images.

The second limit is easy to miss: on the free tier, generated images and videos are deleted after 14 days.

Prices — and the strikethrough trick

Two plans have public prices. Premium costs $19.99 per month or $109.99 per year, which the vendor presents as $9.17 per month. Ultimate costs $39.99 per month or $319.99 per year, presented as $26.67 per month.

Beside each sits a strikethrough list price: $39.99 for Premium, $79.99 for Ultimate. The struck Premium list price is exactly Ultimate’s regular monthly amount, and the advertised 77 and 67 percent discounts are calculated against that reference.

What is missing: the site's interface names four plans — Lite, Plus, Premium, Ultimate — but only two have public prices.

Moments: what you still pay for on a plan

Premium includes 8,000 Moments per month and Ultimate 15,000; messages are unlimited on both. All visuals and voice draw on that pool, which refills monthly.

Subscribers who buy extra Moments get a bonus: 10 percent more on Premium, 15 percent on Ultimate. Separate rate limits slow you down if you send messages or generate images too quickly; how long the wait is, the vendor does not publish.

What is banned and how it is enforced

The prohibited-content policy sorts content into two groups. Banned without exception: underage depictions including trying to make a character younger, non-consensual sexual content even as fiction, sexual content with identifiable real people including deepfakes, and trafficking-related material — with permanent bans and law-enforcement reports threatened. Context-dependent limits cover extreme violence, self-harm, hate speech, extremism, and crime how-tos.

Checks run both ways: inputs before reply, outputs against classifiers, flagged cases by humans; reports reviewed within five business days, per the vendor. The terms say all visual content is AI-generated and claim exemption from the US record-keeping law (18 U.S.C. 2257). Users must be 18 or over.

Who owns it — and what hits the statement?

The ownership question, who is behind it, gets no company name on the consumer site. The one clue is the billing descriptor: subscriptions and Moments purchases appear as “S LABS INC.” per the vendor. That does not look like an adult brand, which helps discretion; no actual bank statement was checked for this review.

Data collection is sparse, and here that is a plus: signup needs email only — no real name, phone, or ID. No native app, so no store listing either.

One marketing figure is best ignored: the sign-up window advertises 1,000,000+ companions without saying what is counted.

Cancel: where this vendor beats most of the category

You can end the plan in the account on the subscription page, without a support ticket. Access lasts to the end of the paid period; then the account drops to free; chats, memories, custom characters, and generated content are kept per the vendor. Upgrading credits unused time.

A separate refund policy (dated 10 April 2026): cancel in settings or by emailing support. EU and UK buyers can withdraw the first purchase within 14 days — using Premium features does not cancel the right; the refund is reduced in proportion to what you used. Renewals are excluded; crypto is never refunded. In a category where others ban refunds or force support-only cancels, this is one of the easier exits among the apps reviewed on this site: self-serve cancellation and a withdrawal right reduced in proportion to use.

One question stays open: what happens to Moments you bought once you cancel. And because free-tier media deletes after 14 days, save anything important first.
