Promptchan is an AI platform for image generation, video (with Extend on the Pro plan), character chat, plus voice messages and voice calls. Operator: VisionAI Labs Limited, The Black Church, St. Mary's Place, Dublin, Ireland.
The public pricing page (read 11 September 2026) lists three paid plans with Gem allotments and a free plan with daily free Gems without a credit card, but without publishing the daily number. This review sticks to published prices and rules; it does not rate the chat.
Three plans and the Gems they deliver
Per the pricing page:
- Plus — $14.99/month, 100 Gems
- Premium — $23.99/month, 400 Gems
- Pro — $33.99/month, 800 Gems plus unlimited casual generations
Voice message: 1 Gem. Voice call: 2 Gems. Extra Gem packs are stated at a 50 percent discount for paying users; a complete pack price list was not on the pricing page.
Plus has the smallest allotment, 100 Gems; Premium has 400 and Pro 800, plus unlimited casual generations. The pricing page does not explain which generations count as casual, so this review only repeats its wording.
Free tier: daily Gems without a published count
Free tier: daily free Gems, no card required. The pricing page does not publish the daily free Gem count as a number. This review does not guess a daily figure.
Paid plans renew automatically unless you pay by crypto or G2A, which buy a fixed period.
Other apps reviewed on this site publish their free limits as numbers: Candy.ai allows five messages, and OurDream.ai gives new accounts 55 free dreamcoins. Promptchan does not, so its free plan is harder to compare.
Cancellation, refunds, platform
Cancel from account settings; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds within 30 days of purchase if there was no significant AI use; cryptocurrency payments are final.
The pricing page lists web, iOS and Android. The pages read on 11 September 2026 are in English; other languages were not checked.
Rules and operator
The operator states generated images are fictional and 18+. Prohibited: AI-generated CSAM and non-consensual deepfakes of real people and celebrities.
Operator: VisionAI Labs Limited, Dublin. A named company in Dublin and a clear ban on abuse material and deepfakes are what the public pages commit to. A longer list of community rules was not on the pages read for this review on 11 September 2026; if Promptchan publishes one elsewhere, it is not covered here.
How this review was put together
No Promptchan subscription was bought for this review. It is based on the public pricing, refund and terms pages, read on 11 September 2026; the checkout behind the login, support replies and a paid account were not part of it. Every source is listed below. Where the pricing page leaves out the daily free Gem count, this review leaves it out too.
